The works in this series are usually born out of experimentation when I am looking for ideas for a show. I chose specific works in this series because they are personally unique in that there is often only one of a kind and I think they are beautiful and stunning in their own right. This series also shares the viewer examples of alternative roads I take when exploring other possibilities and ideas

MELTING POT FACES A Collaboration Work By TABE
‘Melting Pot’ is a piece that comments metaphorically about the diverse makeup of our society and the messiness of our connections with each other physically. The work questions stereotypes: how overall we are judged by genetic elements based on race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, age, healthiness, culture, wealth, fashion – the list goes on. Can such a primitive characteristic of prejudice and judgment advance the collective human condition, or will it become the catalyst of our undoing as a species?
